The cooking business unit designs, manufactures and sells kitchen hoods for domestic use, with the Elica brand as well as for the world's leading manufacturers of household appliances and kitchens. For the Asian market, the company also produces hobs, ovens and sterilisers. The motors business unit manufactures and sells electric motors for appliances, hoods and boilers for household use.


Position

We are currently in the process of recruiting a candidate to cover a position of Junior Customer Quality Engineer.

THE IMPACT:

Manage the product range of the assigned customers set from the development stage, spreading the continuous improvement approach to maximize customer satisfaction. Act as main interface to assure the needed support to the customers to manage and solve product quality issues.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Support the R&D function in order to ensure the quality standards specified by the assigned customers;
- Participate and support actively in the product development process bringing the voice of customer;
- Represent customer interface during the PPAP process of new products and manage product/process modification on current products until final customer approval is released
- Manage the assigned customers set with regard to product quality for the entire life cycle, of contracts requirements management (quality agreement terms) and warranty costs/poor quality costs;
- Monitor in a systematic way the product defectiveness on the market through the analysis of data provided by the managed customers/service providers in order to promote proper corrective and preventive actions to reduce products failure rate;
- Contribute to define in collaboration with other functions, corrective and preventive actions needed to eliminate non-conformities coming from market claims and/or internal product audit;
- Coordinate the mandatory activities for the preparation of audits carried out by customers.


Requirements

- Degree in engineering
- Fluent English mandatory
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and database management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills
- Capability to understand and move within organizational dynamics
