Position
We are currently in the process of recruiting a candidate to cover a position of Laboratory EMC Engineer.
THE IMPACT:
He/She guarantees compliance with the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of all products verified and tested by EPL in compliance with applicable international standards and / or directives, issuing the appropriate test reports and / or certificates of conformity.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Carry out testing of products and prototypes
- Provide technical support to the electronic engineering team
- Carry out practical tests and computer simulations
- Perform tests of performance, thermal examinations and electromagnetic compatibility tests to verify the reliability and functionality of the devices
- Collect and analyse the data obtained and write detailed reports on the results
- Produce various types of technical documentation: draft and preparatory drawings, technical sheets, instruction, and service manuals
- Interface with production for new products launch and technical support for current productions
- Interface with Quality and After Sales for failure analysis
Requirements
- Degree in Electronics Engineering
- Italian native speaker; fluent in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of Office Suite (Especially Excel)
- Previous experience in a similar role will be considered a plus
- Proactivity and strong Interpersonal & communication skills will complete the profile
