The company management was handed to Francesco Casoli, Ermanno's son and current Chairman of Elica

Francesco Casoli became CEO of Elica S.P.A.

The plant in Serra San Quirico was opened

A fire demolished the plant in Fabriano which was rebuilt in just 4 months. Thanks to the company's organisation, no employee lost a day's work or was laid off

The “Premio d’Arte Ermanno Casoli” was founded

In Japan, Elica set up ARIAFINA CO.LTD. a joint venture with Fuji, a Japanese industrial leader in the manufacture of extractor hoods, with the aim of distributing quality-design products in the Japanese market

FIME Polska was founded and in the same year the ARIAFINA showroom was opened in Osaka

Elica was listed for the first time in the Italian Stock Market. In the same year Elicamex was established which led to the opening of the plant in Queretaro

The Fondazione Ermanno Casoli was founded

Elica won the Etica e Impresa award and the Top Employers award, which has been renewed every year since

Elica PB India Private LTD. was set up and the showroom was inaugurated in Mumbai. The company Zhejiang Putian Electric co. Ltd. , China, was taken over in the same year.
