Position
We are currently in the process of recruiting a candidate to cover a position of Design Master Specialist.
MISSION
Support continuous improvement of mechanical design through process automation and regulation.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Define the mechanical design rules (design manual) and verify their correct application;
- Support the designers in defining the chain of tolerances, critical dimensions, as well as complex engineering calculations (FEM etc);
- Verify completeness and formal correctness of the elaborates and system documents;
- Coordinate Risk Assessment and DFMEA;
- Define the initial design of corporate strategic projects;
- Define and take care of the Continuous Training process of mechanical design and the introduction of new resources;
- Evaluate and implement solutions for Continuous Improvements (from generic DFMEA activities and from problems arising in the projects);
- Coordinate the Lesson Learn process and its sharing within the organization;
- Update & Analyze the monthly KPIs in order to understand the R&D trend and evaluate and implement any corrective actions;
- Define the needs of the design SW tools and manage their maintenance with the CAD manager (IT).
Requirements
· Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical engineering;
· At least 4 years of previous experience;
· Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office pack;
· Good knowledge of CREO Parametric 5;
· Knowledge of Windchill will be considered a plus;
· Fluency in English both written and spoken;
· Data driven, flexibility and problem-solving approach.
