The art of knowing how to listen and choose people: therein lies the secret to the perfect inspiration driving this company every day. With a vision made up of delegation, passion, talent and invention.
Francesco Casoli
President of Elica

The element of air, as important to the very existence of Elica as it is invisible and difficult to capture, has forever been our institutional logo. These gentle curves, which have accompanied us thus far, now lend themselves to be reconfigured and joined again to form the number 50. They are curves that are both familiar and surprising, capable of combining the past and future of Elica’s story, a story defined by innovation, design and reliability.
These are our 50 years on air.

A STORY ABOUT PEOPLE

ERMANNO CASOLI

Founder of Elica

A clever and innovative man. An atypical entrepreneur, more likened to the figure of an artist than that of an industrialist. His masterpiece was that which would became the very symbol of Elica: the extractor hood.

GIANNA PIERALISI

Former Executive Director of Elica

A tenacious woman, a symbol of the determination and perseverance that led Elica to become what it is today. After her husband passed she didn’t hesitate to roll up her sleeves, working alongside even the production workers to see how a hood was made. Just like Ermanno, she deeply believed in the value of people and the importance of developing a direct relationship with each person.

UMBERTO GIGLIUCCI

Elica’s first employee

He followed the company throughout its years of growth. He had the good fortune of knowing the founders and is today a witness of the mutual trust and respect that has forever defined the company culture. “We were like one big family, it was like that from the very first day”.
