Our expertise has led us to revolutionise the traditional image of kitchen hoods. We have transformed them from simple accessories into unique design items capable of improving the quality of life of those who choose our products. We have managed this because the Elica Group is now in a class of its own in the market thanks to its experience, attention to design, refinement in the use of materials and its interest in state-of-the-art technologies that guarantee maximum efficiency and energy savings. The Company has been active since the 1970s under the chairmanship of Francesco Casoli. Over 3000 employees play their part in helping us produce about 17 million items a year between hoods and electric motors. Our production platform centres around five countries including Italy, Poland, Mexico, India and China and makes us the outright leaders in the world in the sector of hoods and among the leaders in Europe in the design, production and distribution of electric motors for hoods and heating system boilers.

The foundation of our philosophy puts emphasis on the well-being of the people in Elica, so that they can live well, not just inside the company, but also outside their professional context.

Our Group structure includes seven different companies: Elica, Elica Group Polska, Elicamex, Airforce, Ariafina, Elica PB India and Zhejiang Putian Electric. The headquarters in Fabriano oversees and coordinates the activities of all the companies in the Group, ensuring quality, consistency and control over each individual business. The capacity to bring together the cultural features and specific production characteristics of the various sites makes us an international reality. We achieve our vision of an enterprise consisting of many different resources capable of bringing strength to the Group and making them all feel a totally integral part of the entire organisation's specialist knowledge.

It checks on the design and operation of the internal control system and guarantees compliance with regulations and the corporate governance process.

Press Office

It looks after communications with the mass media so as to contribute towards the company's good reputation.

Human Resources

It manages the company's staff from recruitment to coordination and support and as far as coordinating the Employer Branding projects.

Supply Chain

It looks after the activities of logistics and purchasing.

It runs the information technology systems to improve the company processes for managing and processing information.

It optimises the economic and financial management of the organisation.

Elica has been awarded Top Employers Italia every year from 2009 to today and Top Employers Polska in 2011 and 2014 to today.

Online Talent Communication

The “Online Talent Communication” award is granted by Potentialpark, which annually carries out the OTaC study aimed at investigating behavior of job candidates from all over the world, during their search for career opportunities and companies online communication channels dedicated to HR. Elica has been recognized among the Top 30 Companies in Italy in 2016.


The Etica e Impresa award is promoted by various employee organisations: Agenquadri CGIL, AIDP, APQ-CISL, CIQ-UIL and Federmanager. It also has the patronage of the Italian Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Employment and Welfare. The Elica Group won the “Etica e Impresa” award in 2009 in the Corporate Social Responsibility category due to the modern and strategic approach of its in-house Employment Agreement which makes the fundamental principles of Corporate Social Responsibility something really effective.


The Great Place to Work Institute is involved in research and awards prizes to enterprises with excellent working environments in over 45 different countries in six continents. Great places to work are the result of everyday relations between employees and managers, which help to build reciprocal trust. It derives from the credibility of the management, the respect shown to employees and the extent to which they feel they are being treated fairly. Elica received the award for Great Place to Work Italia in 2011 and 2012, for Great Place to Work Europe in 2011 and for Great Place to Work Polska in 2013.


The Premio dei Premi, created by the Office of the Italian Prime Minister, is a national award for companies which have distinguished themselves for innovation. This prize was awarded to Elica in 2012 and 2013 and bears witness to the Group's constant commitment towards product innovation, processes and business culture.


The Imprese X Innovazione award launched by Confindustria, in collaboration with APQI (Associazione Premio Qualità Italia) and support from Fondazione MAI and Poste Italiane, aims to develop and spread the culture of innovation in every corner of Italy, as well as the idea of excellence, competitiveness and growth in the nation's economy. Elica attained this important acknowledgement in 2012 and 2013.


The Stato di Queretaro annually awards the Premio al Mèrito Empresarial during the most important business event promoted by the Mexican Government. In 2012 Elica Americas was awarded first prize in the category of Exporter Companies “for the excellence of its products and services in Queretaro” and received a special mention in the Social Responsibility section “for the quality of life inside the Company”.


Since the year 2000, the newspaper, Puls Biznesu, has published rankings of companies showing the most dynamic growth, giving certificates to these SMEs, which manage to make headway, thanks to their dynamic development, even in the face of stiff competition. In 2011 Elica Polska was included in the rankings due to the value of its profits, increase in sales and absence of losses in the 2008-2010 period.
